This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you install or use Branded (the “App”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
From Shopify
When you install the App, Shopify provides us with information needed to connect the App to your store and operate core features.
  • Store information (store name, domain, store ID).
  • Merchant contact details available through Shopify (e.g., email) if provided by Shopify.
  • Access tokens and permissions (scopes) granted during installation.
From your use of the App
We may collect usage and diagnostic information to improve performance and reliability.
  • App activity (feature usage, settings, timestamps).
  • Technical data (browser type, device type, IP address, error logs).
Store data you choose to process
Depending on what features you use, the App may process store content (for example, product info, images, or theme content) only as needed to provide the functionality you enable.
How we use information
We use information to:
  • Provide and operate the App (connect to your store, run requested features).
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and improve the App.
  • Respond to support requests you send us.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited cases:

Data retention

If you uninstall the App, we will delete or de-identify store data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, security logs).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices
Access and deletion
You can request access to or deletion of information associated with your store by contacting support@branded-app.com.
Uninstall
Uninstalling the App from Shopify removes our access going forward.
International transfers
If you access the App from outside the country where our servers or service providers are located, your information may be transferred and processed in those locations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
